New Genisis Expert 2132 CNC Router delivered to GM Fitted Furniture in Accrington, Lancashire.

Established in 1978, GM Fitted Furniture are a bespoke manufacturing company based in Accrington, Lancashire who specialise in the design, creation and renovation of interior spaces such as Kitchens, Bedrooms, Media and Cinema rooms, Boot rooms and recreational rooms.

Having supplied machinery to GM over the last 25 years, when it was time to look at improving their workflow by investing in a new CNC nesting machine, we were asked to visit, offer advice and see how we could help with their manufacturing requirements.

Due to the size of the company and manufacturing requirement, it was quickly established a full size heavy duty Genisis Expert 2132 would be the perfect solution.

The heavy duty Genisis Expert is designed for continual use and is equipped with a 9 spindle drill box and 12 position rotary tool changer. The machine delivered also had the automatic sweep device which is servo controlled for optimum setting and offers combined sweeping and bed cleaning simultaneously.

The take off conveyor also has part cleaning making the whole process from nesting to material removal, bed cleaning and part cleaning an effortless and efficient process.

The machine was delivered with Alphacam CAD/CAM software, GM’s preferred choice, with the post processor fully proven and tested prior to delivery to ensure a seamless installation and commissioning process.

The machine also incorporates UK-designed, UK-written and UK-installed automation software, supported by a dedicated UK-based team to provide ongoing technical assistance and support.
