The Costello Group, specialist manufacturers of high-end bespoke fireplaces and luxury media walls, have invested in a new Genisis Professional 2132 CNC machine to increase manufacturing efficiency, expand their design capabilities and support continued growth.

Based in Knowsley, Liverpool, The Costello Group are a national supplier of bespoke fireplaces, media walls and luxury interior solutions. The company also operates one of the UK’s largest showrooms, featuring an extensive collection of displays showcasing its diverse range of contemporary interior designs.

Advanced CNC Machining for Bespoke Media Walls

The latest investment in The Costello Group’s manufacturing facility is a Genisis Professional 2132 CNC machine, featuring a large 3200 x 2100mm working area.

The new CNC router will play an important role in the manufacture of the company’s bespoke media walls and associated cabinetry, while increasing production efficiency and providing greater flexibility for the development of new designs.

A key feature of the Genisis Professional 2132 is its intelligent vacuum zoning system. The technology automatically directs vacuum pressure to the areas where it is needed most, based on the size of the panel being machined.

Combined with a high-flow matrix vacuum bed and two 250m³/h vacuum pumps, the system provides excellent panel holding throughout the CNC machining process, helping to achieve accurate, repeatable and consistent results.

Creating Textured, Slotted and Grooved Media Wall Panels

The Genisis CNC machine will enable The Costello Group to manufacture a wide variety of textured, slotted and grooved panels for bespoke media walls, as well as components for complementary cabinetry and interior furniture.

The additional CNC manufacturing capabilities will also give the company's design and production teams greater freedom to experiment with new patterns, finishes and concepts.

This flexibility is particularly valuable within the luxury interiors market, where customers are increasingly looking for distinctive, made-to-measure designs that transform media walls into a central feature of the living space.

Improving Production Efficiency and Consistency

Alongside greater design freedom, the new CNC machine will enable repetitive and consistent production of components while retaining the flexibility required for bespoke manufacturing.

The Genisis Professional 2132 also supports just-in-time production, allowing components to be manufactured when required rather than relying solely on larger production batches.

For a business manufacturing made-to-measure fireplaces, media walls and cabinetry, this combination of flexibility, accuracy and repeatability can help streamline production while maintaining the high-quality finish expected from luxury interior products.

CNC Training and Technical Support

The Genisis Professional 2132 was supplied with comprehensive CNC machine training, helping The Costello Group's manufacturing team make full use of the machine and its capabilities from installation.

The investment is also backed by ongoing technical support from our experienced team.

In addition to machine support, our manufacturing specialists can provide practical advice covering CNC tooling, machining techniques and production applications, drawing on many years of experience within the woodworking and panel-processing industries.

CNC Technology Supporting the Future of Luxury Interior Manufacturing

For The Costello Group, investment in the Genisis Professional 2132 provides both increased manufacturing capacity and greater creative flexibility.

From precision-cut cabinetry components to distinctive textured and grooved media wall panels, the new CNC machine gives the company the technology required to turn increasingly ambitious interior concepts into accurately manufactured products.

The installation demonstrates how modern CNC machining technology can help bespoke furniture, cabinetry and interior manufacturers combine creative design with efficient, repeatable production.
