A new high speed AES through feed nesting machine has just been delivered and commissioned to a busy Merseyside based shopfitter.
The machine has automatic loading from a lift table which can hold 25 x 18mm sheets of boards up to 3200 x 2100 mm in size. Once loaded the sheet can be drilled using the HSD face boring unit which has a capacity of 10 independently controlled drills and can then be nested using the 9KW HSD router head. There is a side mounted 12 position rotary tool changer and with positioning speeds of 70 m/min makes this a high speed and productive machine for a busy workshop.
The panels are held in place by 2 x Becker vacuum pumps each rated at 250 m3 and the aluminium matrix table is machined to allow as much vacuum as possible to ensure a firm hold whilst in use.
Once the panel has been processed, it is automatically pushed onto a motorised outfeed conveyor and both the machine bed and the processed parts are automatically cleaned ready for the next board to be automatically loaded.
This is an automatic machine that alleviates the need for additional operators to be permanently present to load the machine.
This company uses Autocad for the front end design and then import into Alphacam to allow optimisation and machining.
Our service to the customer included:
Pre-delivery training on the same model machine here at our works. This was an introduction to working the machine including machine operation, control panel function, tool changes along with an over view using Alphacam.
Once the machine was scheduled for delivery, we took complete control with organising fork lifts and engineers to safely offload, position and set up the machine ready for commissioning.
Once ready, the AES technician visited to set up and commission the machine followed by our software CAD/CAM applications engineer to give onsite training based around the customers requirements.
All AES machines come with complete peace of mind with direct contact to the AES technical support team and every customer has access to our installation and support technicians along with our software applications engineer. We offer a free health check on every machine and yearly service contracts. Whether you are looking for your first CNC machine or even if you are an experienced user, we can assist with your manufacturing requirements.
